I've been a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) focusing on injury prevention and rehabilitation since 2002. I received my Practitioner and Therapist certificates from Hirudaya Holistic Life Center School of Massage in San Luis Obispo, CA. I then became an instructor from 2003-2006, teaching Sports Massage and Ethics & Professionalism for Bodyworkers. I additionally taught Sports Massage at the California Holistic Institute in San Luis Obispo, CA from 2012-2016. In 2014, I received my Massage Therapist state certification through the California Massage Therapy Council.
While working with clients dealing with varying physical maladies, I noticed a strong body-mind connection to their challenges. This connection motivated me to learn more about body energy systems. I came to the realization that working with energy is equally, if not more important, then focusing only on body ailments through massage.
In 2018, I began my mind-body education by initially becoming certified “Proficient” in Touch For Health Kinesiology theory, practice and assessment focusing on meridian energy balancing. I studied and trained under Matthew Thie, son of Touch For Health founder, John Thie D.C. through the International Kinesiology College (IKC).
I continued to expand my education by getting certified as a Clinical EFT Practitioner in 2021 through EFT Universe founded by Dawson Church, PhD.
My guiding purpose remains strong - to help my clients heal their pain in body, mind, heart and soul - by utilizing my combined education and gifts through EFT Tapping, TFH Meridian Energy Balancing, Massage or a combination of therapies.
I know, integrative bodywork is a step toward healing the mind-body connection to just feel better.
